Youth Ministry

St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church is proud to present an innovative and new Youth Ministry program model. These classes are intended to nurture teenagers’ catechetical, spiritual, and social needs. We will provide the teens with the best quality Catholic Instruction, a myriad of service opportunities, ample prayer and spiritual experiences, and social activities meant to foster community among our youth. Our curriculum works in conjunction with a textbook called The Catholic Faith Handbook for Youth, with the Catechism of the Catholic Church and The Catholic Prayer Book for teens. Each teen will be given a copy of the Prayer book to bring back to class every week.

All Classes take place on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30 pm in St Clare Hall. Teens are encouraged to come early and have an opportunity to meet and socialize with other teens.

All retreat and service projects are separate events and will require a permission slip for attendance. As the dates approach, teens will be given permission slips in class.

Small group meetings are an opportunity for small groups to meet with their adult leaders outside of the normal class time. While this is not a mandatory part of the program, we do encourage the teens to take this opportunity to build relationships with those in their small groups. Activities will include service projects, social outings, and prayer meetings.
